Former India cricketer Vinod Kambli on Tuesday wished his dear friend and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar on his birthday.

As the 'master blaster' turned 45 today, Kambli took to his Twitter handle and expressed his love and respect for Sachin in a unique way.

In a video posted, Kambli is seen singing a birthday song for Sachin and wished him a long and healthy life.

Tendulkar was 15 and Kambli was 16 when they had a partnership of 664 out of which Kambli had unbeaten 349 and Tendulkar 326 not out.

While Tendulkar went on to create a bunch of records in the game, Kambli could not realise his potential, ending up with 17 Test caps after a great start to his international career that saw him smash back-to-back double hundreds against England and Zimbabwe back in 1993.

Virender Sehwag too took to Twitter to wish his former batting partner.

Making a reference to a dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan's movie 'Fan'. He wrote, "Woh sirf ek Cricketer nahi, Duniya hai Meri ! aur bahuton ki".

"Many more happy returns of the day to a man who could stop time in India (literally) .Thank you for making the Cricket Bat such a great weapon, which later many like me could also use. #HappyBirthdaySachin," he added.

Sachin is the only cricketer to have as many as 100 international centuries to his name.
