Paris Olympics 2024: WATCH | Wrestler Nisha Dahiya loses after serious right arm injury in last 30 secs of QF

India women wrestler Nisha Dahiya lost her 68 kg freestyle quarterfinal bout to North Korea's Sol Gum Pak with a shoulder injury in last 30 seconds of the bout. Nisha had a lead going into the final round which she then stretched to 8-1.

An injury on right arm which saw Nisha bursting into tears and get attended by the official medical staff gave her opponent a chance. The North Korean grappler took advantage of the injury and brought scores level at 8-8. Watch the moment below:

With only 12 seconds left in the bout, Nisha required the medical attention once again and was constantly crying because of pain. The India grappler, however, went down with a 8-10 score despite a valiant effort.

'Chak de India' actor pens hockey player Amit Rohidas' suspension letter

India men's hockey player Amit Rohidas is all set to miss semi-final against Germany at Paris Olympics 2024 after his appeal against ban was rejected on Monday (Aug 5). Rohidas was shown the red card in second quarter of the quarterfinal match against Great Britain on Sunday (Aug 4). India, nonetheless, went on to win the game 4-2 in the shoot-out.

In a cheeky twist, however, his suspension letter was written by one of technical delegates Joshua Burt. Burt is same person who played Australia's head coach in the famous Bollywood movieChak de India.
