Pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner Izabela Roza Lechowicz lived together in Camberley, Surrey.
Leicester City soccer club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was killed along with four others when his helicopter crashed and later exploded after a Premier League match on Saturday.
Others who believed to be dead, according to Leicestershire Police, were Pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner Izabela Roza Lechowicz. Two staff members Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare and a Thai tycoon also lost their lives.
Not many would know that Eric Swaffer and Izabela Roza Lechowicz were in a relationship.
Swaffer was 53 while Izabela was 46 when the helicopter crashed outside club's car park of King Power Stadium.
They lived together in Camberley, Surrey and Lechowicz had moved to the UK from Poland in 1997.
Swaffer professional pilots and Eric had over 20 years of flying experience.
In a statement, the Polish embassy said: "With great sadness, we received the news about the death of Izabela Lechowicz in the Leicester catastrophe.
"She was a great pilot, winner of the #Polka100 contest. It contributed to the creation of a positive image of Poland in the UK."
