Hockey India announced INR 15 lakh or 1.5 million for each player in the squad to go with INR 7.5 lakh or 0.75 million for each member of support staff.
Apart from this, Odisha chief minister Mohan Manjhi has announced INR 4 crore or 40 million for defender Amit Rohidas to go with INR 15 lakh or 1.5 million for the rest of the players and 1 lakh or 1 million for each member of support staff.
Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann has also announced INR 1 crore or 10 million for each player of the team from the state.
