
Ahead of the Asia Cup final against Bangladesh, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan said the Bengal tigers know how to play under pressure and do not fear playing against big teams.

Bangladesh entered the Asia Cup final by beating Pakistan comprehensively by by 37 runs in the last Super Four match. The Bangaldesh onslaught was led by Mushfiqur Rahim who struck 99 and Mustafizur Rahman picked up 4 wickets for 43 runs to skittle Pakistan.
Dhawan remained cautious about the final asserting that Bangladesh knows the "strategies well" as they have got experienced player in their side.
"We are going to carry the momentum in the finals and we will give our best shot," Dhawan declared, adding, "it's a big final for us ll the teams are quite competitive, everyone was thinking it's gonna be India-Pakistan final but Bangladesh, you know, won a great match against Pak and we cannot take Bangladesh lightly."
Dhawan emphasised that in the absence of Virat Kohli's absence there was "additional responisbilities" on players, asserting that the tournament was an ideal platform for new players.
"We could get to know that which of the other new players could fit into our middle team in the long run," he said.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh captain Mahrafe Mortaza said although "India was a far better team" but if the top order clicks then it could be a tough match for India.
"India is the number one team in the world but just a good day and anything can happen, so we have to be mentally strong and fight till the last ball," Mortaza said.
