After a prolonged break, Bundesliga will be back albeit without fans in the stadiums from May 16. The German top-flight league will resume with Borussia Dortmund locking horns with arch-rivals FC Schalke at the Signal Iduna Park whereas Augsburg will host Wolfsburg in what promises to be a great contest.

In other matches of Bundesliga on May 16, Dusseldorf will face Paderborn while Hoffenheim take on Hertha Berlin. Red Bull Leipzig will also return to the pitch as they face Freiburg on Saturday with the last match of the evening being between Eintracht Frankfurt and Freiburg.

Bundesliga will be the first major European league to commence following the unwanted break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and all eyes will be on the German league as to how successfully they conduct the matches. Fans, who are desperate to see some live football will be glued to their television sets, smartphones, tablets or laptops will tune in to feast their eyes with the beautiful game.
