A Pakistan court today indicted ousted PM Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz in a case related to ownership of London flats.
Pakistan's anti-graft found Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam including her husband Muhammad Safdar guilty in the case, however, the family pleaded not guilty, Reuters reported.
The case relates to properties owned by the Sharif family in London's upscale Park Lane neighbourhood.
After the Panama Papers were published, PM Nawaz Sharif's son, Hussain Nawaz, had accepted the family's ownership of the flats.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's (PTI) lead counsel Naeem Bokhari during the hearing of the Panama Papers case had alleged that the owner of the London flats was the ousted Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif himself.

Sharif's wife Kulsoom, who is suffering from throat cancer, has undergone three surgeries in the UK so far.
Pakistan's top court also ordered an investigation by the National Accountability Bureau(NAB) and trial of Sharif family members.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had registered three cases of corruption and money laundering against Sharif, his family members and finance minister Ishaq Dar in the Islamabad Accountability Court after the Supreme Court disqualified Sharif, 67, as prime minister on July 28.
Sharif's family has alleged that the cases are politically motivated.
He had to step down as prime minister and president of the PML-N party after being disqualified by the Supreme Court.
Sharif was re-elected as the president of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on October 3 and immediately demanded that those who disqualified him should respect the people's mandate and democracy.
