Cricket fraternity condemns serial blasts that rattled Sri Lanka

Cricket fraternity has condemned theseries of bomb attacks throughout Sri Lanka on Sunday that killed at least 160 people and injured many.
The explosions, some of which officials said were suicide bomb attacks, led to an immediate clampdown, with the government declaring a curfew and blocking access to most major social media and messaging sites.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe described a series of bomb attacks as "cowardly," calling on the country to remain "united and strong."
Former Sri Lankan cricketer Mahela Jayawardene wrote on his Twitter handle, "Very sad day for all of us in SL.. After 10 years of peace we see inhumane attaks on inocent again. While condeming and praying for the lost its time for us to stay calm and unite."

Former Indian cricketers Irfan Pathan and VVS Laxman also expressed grief over the ghastly attacks.
Pathan wrote, "Terrible news coming from https://srilanka.how one human can be so cruel to another ?????"
Bangladeshi cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim said, "This is just ridiculous...Doesn’t want to hear this kind of news anymore...my deepest sympathy to all the people and family...is there any place in the world is safe ???"
South African Faf Du Plessis said, "Terrible news from Sri Lanka where churches got bombed on Easter . Praying for everyone there and and the churches affected."
