The world is gearing up for a mesmerising celestial event this month when the planet will receive a double meteor shower.

On July 30, the night sky will be sparkly lit bynot one but two annual meteor showers that will take place simultaneously.

The Alpha Capricornids and the Delta Aquarids will be at their peak and will be accompanied by a mesmerising display of shooting stars.

However, those living in the southern latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere can also see the meteor showers.

It is expected that the meteors will radiate out from various celestial figures like Orion, Perseus, and Gemini and create a fascinating mixture of lights in the sky.

The star-studded night will start with an unrivalledSouthern Delta Aquariidmeteor shower.

The Aquariids will be more grand in comparison to the other one and are likely to be remnants of the comet 96P Machholz.

Here's how you can get the best view of meteor showers

To get the best view, one is expected to watch towards the southeast region of the sky where the constellation Aquarius exists.

However, it can be difficult to spot Aquarius. Therefore, one can try to find constellations like Capricornus, Aquila, or Pisces.

These constellations are around Aquarius and it is easier to spot them. One should find a dark spot away from city lights to enjoy the event.
