Bodies of two terrorists have been recovered from the operation site in the Redwani area of Kulgam district in South Kashmir where three terrorists were earlier believed to be trapped. Security forces are currently carrying out a search operation and looking for more bodies under the debris of the house.
The identities of the terrorists have not been revealed yet.
Security forces earlier said one top LeT/TRF commander was among the three terrorists involved in the gunfight and holed up at the operation site. The house in which the terrorists were hiding caught fire.
The operation started on Monday night (May 6) after security forces receivedinput about the presence of terrorists in the area. The operation was halted for the night and resumed in the morning.

Earlier on Tuesday (May 7),more deployment was brought to the encounter site. The operation is being carried out by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF.
