The Bombay High Court today rejected the anticipatory bail of Augustine Pinto, Grace Pinto, and Ryan Pinto, the three trustees of Ryan International School.
The three trustees have been granted interim protection from arrest till tomorrow, enabling them to file an appeal, reports said.
Bombay High Court has asked Augustine, Grace and Grace Pinto to submit their passports to Mumbai Police Commissioner by 9 pm on Friday.
Earlier today, Pinto's lawyer Nitin Pradhan told the Bombay High Court that Ryan Pinto is not a trustee or on the payroll of the institution which runs Ryan International Schools.
On Wednesday, the Pintos had approached the court seeking anticipatory bail apprehending arrest in connection with the murder of Pradyuman Thakur, a 7-year-old boy who was found dead at Ryan International School, Bhonsdi, on September 8.
A bus conductor of the school has been arrested in connection with the murder of Pradyuman Thakur.
Varun Thakur, father of murdered the 7-year-old, on the rejection of Pintos' plea told ANI that the Bombay High Court's view had strengthened his trust in Indian judiciary.
