'Karnataka's most wanted': Rahul Gandhi fires fresh salvo at PM Modi

In the run-up to the Karnataka elections, Congress president Rahul Gandhi today posted a video challenging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reply to the allegations of corruption against BJP leaders from the state.

Rahul wrote on Twitter that while PM Modi talked a lot, his actions did not match his words. The Congress president added that the video played out like an episode of "Karnataka's Most Wanted".

The Congress president tweeted: "You talk a lot. Problem is, your actions don’t match your words. Here's a primer on your candidate selection in Karnataka. It plays like an episode of "Karnataka's Most Wanted".

The video begins by asking PM Modi to speak for five minutes on the eight tickets granted to the corrupt Reddy brothers "gang" and on making BS Yeddyurappa the BJP's chief ministerial candidate despite the "23 cases of corruption, cheating and forgery" against him.

The video asks PM Modi when he will speak on the top 11 BJP leaders facing corruption cases.

It names B Sriramulu, Somashekar Reddy, TH Suresh Babu, Katta Subramanya Naidu, CT Ravi, Murgesh Nirani, ES EN Krisshnaiah Shetty Malur, K Shivanagouda Nayak, R Ashok, and Shobha Karandlaje as the BJP candidates facing criminal cases. 

"Putting a lid on the Rs 35,000 crore illegal iron ore mining scam of the Reddy brothers. Awaiting your reply," states the video which shows external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj giving her blessings to the infamous Reddy brothers.
