
A total of 209 trains have been cancelled by Indian Railways on 1 December. This comprises the JanShatabd Express from Banaras to Patna Junction, the Shatabdi from New Delhi to Kanpur Central, and the Janshatabdhi from Ekta Nagar to Ahmedabad. This includes 26 trains short-terminated, while 27 trains had their sources modified by Indian Railway. The Indian Railways also changed the schedules of 21 trains, including the Duranto Express from Howrah to Pune Junction. Additionally, 58 trains have been diverted including Howrah Patna Janshatabdi from Howrah Junction to Patna, Shatabdi Express from Howrah Junction to New Jalpaiguri, and Duronto Express from Sealdah to Bikaner Junction.
Passengers having online tickets will get full refunds in the source account while those having counter tickets will have to visit the reservation centre to claim the refund.While passengers with counter tickets must go to the reservation centre to obtain their refunds, those with online tickets will receive full reimbursements in the source account.
