India's fastest train to run between Delhi-Gwalior in under 4 hours

Gatimaan Express will now cover 306 kilometres in 3 hours 15 minutes
India's first semi-high speed train Gatimaan Express is all set to extend its route to Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
The North Central Railway recently confirmed that the train will now offer its services up to the Bundelkhand region.
Gatimaan Express was flagged off in April 2016 to cover a total distance of 187 kilometres -- between Delhi and Agra city -- in just 100 minutes. The train, which originally runs between Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin and Agra Cantt stations, will now be operated to Gwalior in the first phase.
The train will now cover 306 kilometres in 3 hours 15 minutes.
The service is likely to be extended to Jhansi in its second phase, passengers will reach Jhansi from Delhi in just four and a half hours.
Gatimaan's new route will come into effect from February 19. The train will leave from platform number five at 8.10 am from Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station.
