Traffic police launched a probe after a video showed the white Swift speeding through the city with the unusual markings. The car’s owner, BA student Aditya Sikarwar, was later identified.

<p>Two Indian cities, Gwalior and Kozhikode, have been&nbsp;added to the prestigious list of UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN). The cities featured among other 55 new cities from around the world and were added to the list on Tuesday. &nbsp;</p>

<p>The 55 cities joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network on World Cities Day, which was observed on Oct 31.</p>

<p>Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior made the cut in the ‘Music’ category, while Kerala’s Kozhikode has earned its place in the list in the ‘Literature’ category.&nbsp;</p>

Fire breaks out in 4 coaches of Andhra Pradesh Express near Gwalior

<p>Curfew will remain imposed in various areas of Gwalior, Bhind and Morena districts on Wednesday in the wake of violence witnessed by the state on April 2 during Bharat Bandh.</p>

<p>The curfew, though, would be relaxed for two hours between 10 am and 12 noon, according to police.</p>

<p>On Tuesday, 50 people were arrested for pelting stones at a police party in Morena.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the death toll in violence reached seven in the state after one more body was recovered yesterday in the morning.</p>

<p>Violent protests marred the nationwide shutdown that was called by several Dalit organisations to protest against the alleged dilution of the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act.</p>

<p>In all, at least 11 people have died across the country in the violence that broke out in various states, including Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Gujarat, and Punjab.</p>

<p>In the latest development, the Supreme Court has refused to put stay order on its March 20 ruling, after Centre filed a review petition against the same.</p>

<p>The apex court, on March 20, introduced the provision of anticipatory bail in the act while directing that there would be no automatic arrest on any complaint filed under the law. This ruling allegedly infuriated the Dalits who claimed that the act has been diluted.&nbsp</p>

Curfew will remain imposed in various areas of Gwalior, Bhind and Morena districts on Wednesday in the wake of violence witnessed by the state on April 2 during Bharat Bandh. The curfew, though, would be relaxed for two hours between 10 am and 12 noon, according to police. On Tuesday, 50 people were arrested for pelting stones at a police party in Morena. Meanwhile, the death toll in violence reached seven in the state after one more body was recovered yesterday in the morning. Violent protests marred the nationwide shutdown that was called by several Dalit organisations to protest against the alleged dilution of the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act. In all, at least 11 people have died across the country in the violence that broke out in various states, including Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Gujarat, and Punjab. In the latest development, the Supreme Court has refused to put stay order on its March 20 ruling, after Centre filed a review petition against the same. The apex court, on March 20, introduced the provision of anticipatory bail in the act while directing that there would be no automatic arrest on any complaint filed under the law. This ruling allegedly infuriated the Dalits who claimed that the act has been diluted.

<p>The North Central Railway recently confirmed that the train will now offer its services up to the Bundelkhand region.</p>

<p>Gatimaan Express was flagged off in April 2016 to cover a total distance of 187 kilometres -- between Delhi and Agra city -- in just 100 minutes. The train, which originally runs between Delhi&rsquo;s Hazrat Nizamuddin and Agra Cantt stations, will now be operated to Gwalior in the first phase.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The train will now cover 306 kilometres in 3 hours 15 minutes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The service is likely to be extended to Jhansi in its second phase, passengers will reach Jhansi from Delhi in just four and a half hours.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Gatimaan&#39;s new route will come into effect from February 19. The train will leave from platform number five at 8.10 am from Delhi&#39;s Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station.&nbsp;</p>
