A man in Maharashtra’s Mumbai found human finger inside a cone of ice cream which he ordered from an online store. The woman, who was left in sheer shock and disgust, immediately contacted the police to report the bizarre incident.
A case has been registered at the Malad Police Station, jurisdiction area of the incident, against the ice cream company called, Yummo Ice Cream. The ice cream which the man received in her order has also been sent for investigation, as per ANI.
The “human organ” found in the ice cream has also been sent to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL).
"We have initiated an investigation to find whose finger is it. An FIR is lodged and the finger has been sent to forensic lab," the police official said.

A case has been registered against the ice cream company, under sections 272, 273, and 336 of the Indian Penal Code, Senior Police Officer, Ravi Adane said.

As per some reports, the human finger found in the ice cream cone was about 2 cm long. It was found when the man started slurping the ice cream and felt something unusual hitting her tongue. When he pulled it out, it was a piece of a human finger.
A photograph of the ice cream cone, showing a human finger protruding from the top, was shared online. This incident has sparked a wave of concern among local residents about food safety standards.
As per Yummo Ice Cream’s social media accounts and official website, the company seems to be a new player in the category with only about 800 followers on Instagram.
