Watch 'Kaala' trailer: Rajinikanth as mob boss is everything you imagined!

South Indian superstar Rajinikanth proves yet again that he is an invincible force when it comes to his acting skills. Returning as the mob boss Kaala Karikaala in the trailer of “Kaala” on Monday, Rajinikanth pulls off a great start with the one-and-a-half-minute video becoming viral within half an hour of its release.

Dhanush whose Wanderbar Films produces the film, shared the trailer on YouTube and wrote: "It's finally time, the king arrives in style! Presenting to you, our Superstar Rajinikanth's, much anticipated “Kaala” trailer."

Makers of the film described the superstar’s character as the "King of Dharavi" and you will know why only if you watch the trailer. The trailer begins with a top shot of Dharavi, which is believed to be the biggest slum in Asia, followed by a quick introduction to Nana Patekar, who plays a politician and the antagonist in the film.

“Kaala” is a character you will love not only because it’s played by Rajinikanth himself but because he is a fun-loving mob boss and crazy gangster at the same time.

Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also stars Huma Qureshi, Sampath Raj, Pankaj Tripathi, Nana Patekar and Anjali Patil. It is Rajinikanth's second collaboration with the director after 2016's “Kabali”.

Directed by Pa Ranjith, “Kaala” hits screens on June 7.
