Lok Sabha election results 2024: Big blow for BRS as BJP, Congress battle it out with equal leads in Telangana

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of K Chandrasekhar Rao seems to be losing its grip on power in Telangana, as per latest trends of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
BRS, which has ruled the state since its inception in 2014, failed to make any lead on the 17 parliamentary seats in the south Indian state.
Meanwhile, the BJP and Congress are neck and neck with leads oneight seats each.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi was leading on Hyderabad seat, abastion of the party. He was ahead of his nearest BJP rival K Madhavi Latha by over 70,000 votes.

Interesting trends emerged from Telangana in Lok Sabha elections as BJP emerged leading on several key constituencies which included Malkajgiri, Chevella, Secunderabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar, and Adilabad.
TheCongress has been maintaining lead in Nalgonda, Bhongir, Khammam, Zahirabad, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Peddapalli, and Nagarkurnool.
Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy was ahead of his nearest Congress rival Danam Nagender by 11,677 votes after the first round of counting of votes was completed in Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday (June 4).

Meanwhile, Kishan Reddy received 32,193 votes and Nagender got 20,516 votes in the first round of counting, according to official sources.
BJP National General Secretary and sitting MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar was leading by 12,468 votes in Karimnagar after the first round of counting.
