Baba Ramdev's Patanjali launches 'Coronil', medicine to fight COVID-19

Patanjali today launched Ayurvedic medicine "Coronil", anti-coronavirus tablets to combat the spread of COVID-19 infections.

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev launched the medicine at Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar in Uttarakhand. Baba Ramdev said that the medicine has shown "100 per cent recovery rate within 3-7 days".
The medicine is reportedly made with a mixture of Tulsi, Giloy and Ashwagandha while launching it, Ramdev said,"The whole world has been waiting for someone to develop a medicine for coronavirus. Today, we are proud that we developed the first ayurvedic medicine for coronavirus. It has been named Coronil.”
The medicine has been jointly developed by Patanjali Research Institute and National Insitute of Medical Science at Jaipur.
Patanjali CEO Acharya Balkrishna had told ANI that "first the simulation was done and compounds identified which can fight the virus and stop its spread in the body".
