Union minister Rajnath Singh, while addressing in Jammu recalled what happened in the state during 1989. He has askedall political parties to cooperate in order to improve the situation in Kashmir.
1989 saw the increase of militancy and bomb blasts in the valley which further led to the infamous exodus of Kashmir Pandits.
The union minister also appreciatedthe Indian security forces saying that they are giving a befitting reply to Pakistan's ceasefire violations.
He indicated on constituting an expert group to solve problems faced by people living in border areas, also assuring that actions will be taken against illegal migrants.
Home Minister said that the centre has diverted 1080 crores to provide 3000 jobs to Kashmiri migrants.
While also allocating Rs 2000 crores for rehabilitation of migrants from Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK).
The union minister added that they have adopted a humane approach to support migrants and displaced people, however, they strongly disapproved illegal migrants.
