Wondering why fans are sending wreaths to HYBE headquarters with the name Suga on it? Well, we have an answer for you after doing our own bit of research.
Looks like there are now two factions of BTS fans – ARMY who loves the Korean pop boy band and anti-fans who hate the boy band. In the latter, there are some who are ex-ARMY and some who have never liked the band altogether.
BTS fans want Suga to leave K-pop boy band
In the latest display of their hatred for the band, these anti-fans sent wreaths to HYBE headquarters and asked for Suga to be removed from BTS following his drunk driving incident. They want Suga to step down or be removed from BTS. The protestors accused HYBE and Suga of false statements.
Initial reports suggested that the K-pop star was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was on a scooter when the police stopped him. He was asked to get a breath analyser which showed he was drunk. He was fined and let go. Since then, more reports have emerged like allegations of heightened alcohol level, incorrect vehicle classification, and potential false statements.

Fans (or anti-fans) sent wreaths to HYBE
On August 13, fans (or anti-fans) placed wreaths with harsh messages aimed at Suga, demanding his exit from BTS. They expressed how unhappy they were at how things were handled. They said that all parties involved including HYBE, Big Hit Music, and Suga himself gave false statements.
Messages written on the wreaths read: "Min Yoongi, leave the team," "You don't belong with BTS," "We don't want you," and "You were the one who let go of our hands," and were expressed in a derogatory manner.
While they called themselves ARMY, BTS fans said that they were actually anti-fans and were using this drunk driving episode as an opportunity to malign BTS. Many fans are calling this a means of exploiting the situation for attention.

This is what some of the ARMY wrote in Suga’s defense
“I wish everyone would realise that making so much drama of the incident is definitely spearheaded by someone with an agenda. There’s no way Army would want Suga to leave over something so small. His value and contribution to BTS is huge for him to just up and go,” a fan commented. “I don't think that this is ARMYs doings,” wrote another.
“Like seriously they are doing this, Why are they demanding Suga's withdrawal just because of this incident in which he hasn't committed any big crime. If he would commit any big crime then we could say that he should leave the group but he hasn't done anything big,” another claimed.
