Sidhu Moose Wala shot dead in Punjab
In a shocking turn of events, Punjabi rapper and singer Sidhu Moose Wala has beenshot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district, Punjabon Sunday.The incident has sent shock waves across the country and his fans are mourning his untimely demise.
Moose Wala,who had joined Congress in December last year, was brought dead to the hospital, said Dr Ranjeet Rai, Civil Surgeon, Mansa Hospital.
The incident took place a day after his security was withdrawal by the police. While issuing the order to remove Moose Wala’s security cover, the Punjab Police had said it was done on a “temporary basis”. It also said that it was done in “connection with an emergent law and order duty”.
As per reports, the Punjab Police had ordered the withdrawal of security of 424 people, including former MLAs, Jathedars of two Takhts, heads of Deras, and police officials along with the Punjabi singer.
A video is currently going viralon social media which shows Moose Wala’sbullet-ridden black SUV.
The disturbing clip shows the car’scracked windshield filled with bullet holesand the singer-rapper covered in blood and lying in an unconscious state.
The windows seemcompletely smashed in the clip and the seats are covered in blood. Several people can be seen standing around the singer and helpinghim get out of the vehicle. Post which,he was immediate rushed to the hospital.

Canada-based gangster Satinder Singh aka Goldy Brar has reportedly taken responsibility forkilling the rapper. He has reportedly stated that his module in Punjab had carried out the attack. As per reports, he was also the main conspirator in the killing of youth Congress leader Gurpal Singh Pehalwan.
Born on June 17, 1993, Sidhu Moose Wala, whose real name was Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, belonged to the Moosewala villagesituated in Punjab`s Mansa district.
The singer, whowas popularlyknown for his gangster raps, held a degree in electrical engineering. He gained interest in musicduring his college days and after completing his secondary education, he moved to Canada.
Back in September 2019, he sparked controversy with his track ‘Jatti Jeonay Morh Di BandookWargi’ which had a reference of 18th century Sikh warrior Mai Bhago.
Currently, investigation is ongoing and it’s still unclear who planned the attack against the Punjabi rapper.
