Shakira has announced that her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran's North American tour dates will be pushed to 2025, following an overwhelming demand for tickets. Originally slated to begin next month in arenas across the US and Canada, the Colombian superstar shared on Friday that she will now perform in larger stadium venues to accomodate larger crowds.
The rescheduled North American leg will kick off in May 2025, after her Latin American shows. The new tour dates will be officially announced on Monday.
“Your incredible support since my tour announcement has truly been extraordinary, and it’s already making this the biggest tour of my career,” Shakira shared on social media. “As Live Nation communicated earlier, the demand for tickets and more shows has reached the point that our tour now requires stadiums in the USA and more dates so I can see as many of you as possible.”
Shakira also gave fans a glimpse of what to expect from the tour, promising a show larger than anything she’s done before. “The concert’s production is unlike anything I’ve done before,” she said, expressing gratitude for her fans’ patience. “Thank you so much for supporting me through this. Your understanding and love mean the world to me and help me to continue breaking barriers. I promise to make it worth the wait and deliver the best show of my life!”

This will mark Shakira’s first US tour since her El Dorado world tour in 2018.
In addition to her tour announcement, Shakira has had a busy year. Last month, she released her latest single, “Soltera,” accompanied by a star-studded music video featuring Anitta, Winnie Harlow, Lele Pons, and Danna.
In June, she graced the cover of Rolling Stone for a revealing interview in which she discussed reclaiming her confidence and “sexy” after her personal struggles.
