Salman Khan firing incident: Man arrested for booking cab in Bishnoi's name from actor's Mumbai residence

Firing outside Bollywood star Salman Khan's residence has shocked the entire nation. Since the firing incident, Mumbai police have tightened up the security at Salman's Galaxy apartment and launched a probe. Within a week, the shooters, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, who fired gunshots in the early hours of Sunday, April 12 were arrested from Bhuj, Gujarat.
As the probe continues, the police on Friday arrested a 20-year-man for allegedly booking a cab from Salman's home in the name of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

A few days after the firing incident, a person by the name Rohit Tyagi allegedly booked a cab from Salman's Galaxy Apartments to the Bandra police station. However, when the cab driver reached the pickup location, he realised that it was a prank. Taking serious action, the driver filed a complaint at a Bandra police station.
As per Indian news agency ANI, the accused man is from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. In the post shared on X, they wrote, ''Mumbai Police arrested a 20-year-old accused Rohit Tyagi from Ghaziabad, UP. He had booked a car in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi from Galaxy Apartment, the house of actor Salman Khan, to Bandra Police Station. He has been sent to the custody of Bandra Police for two days.''
Bandra police have registered a case against Tyagi under IPC sections 505 (statements conducing to public mischief) and 290 (public nuisance), as per PTI.

Update on firing incident
On Tuesday (April 16), two shooters identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), were arrested by Kutch Police in Gujarat. Both were brought to Mumbai and are currently in a 10-day police custody. The shooters were reportedly paid Rs 1 lakh for firing outside Salman's home.
“Accused Sagar Pal was influenced by the gangster lifestyle and to fulfil his dream, he came in contact with the gang, and from there he got the contract of firing outside Salman Khan, the accused were told that it was a big job and they would get good money,” Mumbai Police said.
The police are currently investigating Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi's role in the incident. For the unaware, Anmol has allegedly taken responsibility for the incident.
