Sabrina Carpenter teases new song 'Taste' featuring Jenna Ortega

Sabrina wowed her fans as she shared a teaser of her upcoming music video which she calls “Taste”. The music video features actress Jenna Ortega of the famedNetflix seriesWednesday.

The “Please Please Please” singer took to social media to share a 16-second teaser of her new music video. The video will be out on August 23.

In the preview, Sabrina Carpenter is seen grabbing a knife from a bed full of weapons. The camera then follows Sabrina who then enters a home with a knife in hand and goes upstairs, where she sees Jenna Ortega in the shower with a man. Sabrina Carpenter opens the shower curtain and charges at Ortega.

After the success of “Please Please Please”, Sabrina is ready for “Taste” to take over. It will be the third single of Carpenter’s sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet, which is scheduled to release on August 23.

Sabrina Carpenter has not only sung the song but is also credited as one of the songwriters alongside Julia Michaels and Amy Allen. John Ryan and Ian Kirkpatrick produced the song.

“Taste” follows the success of singles like “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.”

Songs on the album Short n' Sweet

Fans can expect a pandora box of music as the tracklist for Short n’ Sweet also includes “Good Graces,” “Sharpest Tools,” “Coincidence,” “Bed Chem,” “Dumb & Poetic,” “Slim Pickins,” “Juno,” “Lie to Girls,” and “Don’t Smile.”

In an interview with Paper magazine, Sabrina Carpenter spoke about her songwriting process and writing about taboo topics. She said, “I will write any song. It doesn’t mean I’ll put it out, but I’ll write it. I think the series of unfortunate events I’ve encountered in relationships are no secret to people who know me or think they know me.”
