Rejoice! Lady Gaga is currently working on two albums and one of them is inspired by her recent role in Joker.
The singer, after announcing that she will be dropping the single from her forthcoming seventh studio album, is also working on another album and it’s called “Harlequin”. The title of the album is obviously based on her role in Joker 2 film, Harley Quinn. In the film, she plays Joker’s girlfriend, opposite Joaquin Phoenix.
“Harlequin” will be released on September 27 and feature 13 songs. In the lead-up to the announcement, Gaga teased fans with posts to Instagram “I’m ready for my interview.”
Another post read, “Don’t tell me what to wear.”
Then there was a third in which she wrote, “No duct tape. No mission.”
Lady Gaga also teased the album earlier this week with billboards including the number “6.5,” which she possibly hints is a half album and not like her other album which is full and is listed as “LG7.”
In Joker: Folie À Deux, Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix will come together for the first time. In a recent interview, Gaga called it “unlike anything I’ve ever done before.”
Joker: Folie À Deux will release on October 4.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga at the premiere of the Chromatica Ball Film said, “I have written so many songs and I have produced so many songs. It’s nothing like anything that I’ve ever made before.” She added, “There’s something really beautiful about knowing that you will be loved no matter what you do.”
