The post has since gone viral and has received mixed reactions. A user wrote, "Bollywood should learn from Sonu Sood. You are villain in reel but you are real hero in real life."

Another commented, "And Rangana Kanaut should be replaced with Kulwinder Kaur." A third post read, "Do HUMANITY shops give free foods and services to all?"

Meanwhile, some users shared screen grabs of Kangana's old tweets, which read, "There is nothing wrong with eating beef or meat. It's not about religion! It's not a hidden fact that Kangan turned Vegetarian 8 years ago and chose to be a yogi. She still doesn't believe in just one religion. On the contrary, her brother eats meat."

Earlier, screenwriter Javed Akhtar also reacted to the escalating row over shops on the Kawar Yatra route.

"Muzaffarnagar UP police has given instructions that on the route of a particular religious procession in near future all the shops restaurants n even vehicles should show the name of the owner prominently and clearly. Why? In Nazi Germany they used to make only a mark on particular shops and houses,"Akhtar wrote.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath mandated the use of ID Cards by all shop owners in the state that fall along the Kanwar Yatra route. The decision has led to a political slugfest between the right and left-wing parties.
