Will Smith made a grand entry on the red carpet on Thursday, May 30, for the Los Angeles premiere of Bad Boys: Ride or Die, the fourth instalment in the beloved action-comedy series. The 55-year-old actor was joined by his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, 52, sons Trey, 31, and Jaden, 25, daughter Willow, 23, and mother-in-law Adrienne Banfield-Norris, 70, at the TCL Chinese Theatre.
Smith, along with co-star Martin Lawrence, directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, made a memorable entrance by arriving on top of a double-decker bus. Upon arrival, the Oscar-winning actor delighted fans by grabbing a microphone and performing a snippet of his hit song "Miami."
For the premiere, Smith sported an all-black outfit featuring wide-leg trousers, a scoop-neck T-shirt, and a black satin suit jacket adorned with subtle floral details. He completed the ensemble with black patent leather loafers, a chunky black and cream necklace, brown glasses, and a black beanie.
Jada Pinkett Smith turned heads in a geometric-patterned, see-through gown. She accessorised the striking dress with black open-toed heels and diamond stud earrings.
Willow Smith embraced a 1970s-inspired look, wearing a matching brown and white plaid coat and trousers. Jaden Smith twinned with his father in wide-leg trousers paired with a white button-down shirt and a black puffer vest. Trey Smith opted for a simple teal suit.
Smith and Lawrence have been portraying Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Bennett since the original Bad Boysfilm in 1995. The new movie's trailers hint at a plot where the duo must go on the run following the death of their commanding officer, Captain Conrad Howard, who is implicated in a corruption case.
The official synopsis reads, "This Summer, the world's favorite Bad Boys are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your-seat action and outrageous comedy but this time with a twist: Miami's finest are now on the run."
Bad Boys: Ride or Diehits theaters on June 7.
