Madness for Taylor Swift is unmatched. Thousands of Swifties took over the entire hill in Munich, Germany to enjoy Swift's Eras Tour, and that too for free.

Like many other Eras Tour shows, Swift's Munich concert has drawn a huge crowd. However, what made this concert stand out was the die-hard audience gathered on a hilltop outside the Olympic Stadium to enjoy the pop star’s performance.

Swifties Take Over The Hill

Despite the scorching heat, thousands of people stepped out with their umbrellas, mats and food items and gathered at the Olympic Hill, one of the highest elevations in the city, to watch the second day of the concert.

Photos of the massivecrowd gathering on Olympic Hill have taken social media by storm. According to the Associated Press, local police estimated that around 25,000 fans gathered on the hill on Saturday, first day of her gig in the city. On the second day, the crowd doubled.As per Taylor, around 50,000 people were Taylor-gating outside the concert venue on Sundayin Munich.

According to the Olympiapark website, one can enjoy a "magnificent view of the Olympic Park" and has "been a popular destination for enjoying free open-air concerts."

On Sunday, the ''Lover'' acknowledged the insane gathering during her performance, as she expressed her gratitude to her fans for their love and support.

“We are lucky enough to get to play this show for 74,000 beautiful people in this stadium, and if the reports are correct, about 50,000 beautiful people outside the stadium,” Swift said, according to a video circulating on X.

“Thank you for coming to the Eras Tour, whether you’re in the stadium or outside of the stadium,” Swift continued.

“We are so lucky to be here with you. And this is actually a really special night, because this is our last show in Germany. I cannot express to you how wonderful the German crowds have been to us over the last few weeks. We are so sad to be leaving you but we will be back, we will be back to see you.”

As per the reports, fans started gathering at the green hill and on the banks of the Nymphenburg Canal to lock a position hours before the concert.

Photos and videos of enthusiastic fans gathering outside the stadium have taken the internet by storm. One X user shared a video showing the magical evening scene of the hill lit up with the phone screens and wrote, ''no amount of think pieces could take this away from taylor swift.''

Taylor's next stop is the Polish capital, Warsaw.
