Lady Gaga, who is currently promoting the Gaga Chomatica Ball concert film, is all set to play one of the most iconic roles of her life. Yes, we are talking about Gaga stepping into the shoes of Harley Quinn for the upcoming film Joker: Folie à Deux.
While not much is known about the project, except a few leaks from the set that have only left fans intrigued, Gaga's casting as the vicious, violent, and fierce antiheroine has got everyone biting their nails.
In a new interview to promote the Gaga Chomatica Ball film, the pop star shared how she is approaching the character of Harley Quinn and what fans can expect from the movie.
In a conversation with Access Hollywood, the actress said, "You know my version of Harley is mine, and it’s very authentic to this movie and these characters. I’ve never done anything like I’ve done in this movie before, so it’s all going to be completely brand new and really fun."

Gaga stars opposite Joaquin Phoenix in the Joker sequel. Helmed by Todd Phillips, the DC Studios film is set to premiere in theatres on October 4. It also stars Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, and Zazie Beetz.

Gaga Chromatica Ballpremieres Saturday on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.The concert film captures Gaga’s Los Angeles stop during her 2022 Chromatica Ball Tour, which saw the pop icon take over Dodger Stadium with a blend of her greatest hits and tracks from her 2020 album, Chromatica. The tour, Gaga’s first all-stadium endeavour, comprised just 20 dates, kicking off in Germany in July 2022 and wrapping up in Miami two months later.
