Jessica Chastain, Jane Fonda, Prince to get stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame
The Hollywood Walk of Fame will soon get new additions as celebrities like Prince, Jane Fonda, Colin Farrell and Jessica Chastain have been announced to get their stars. The 2025 Hollywood Walk of Fame will get 30 new stars in various categories, likemotion pictures, television, live theatre/live performance, radio, recording and sports entertainment.
The motion picture honorees include John Carpenter, Chastain, Bill Duke, Robert Englund, Emilio Estevez, Farrell, Fonda, Nia Long, Lisa Lu, Glynn Turman and Toni Vaz.
In the TV category, celebrities like Fran Drescher, Lauren Graham, Bill Nye, Molly Shannon, Sherri Shepherd, Courtney B. Vance, Chris Wallace and Trey Parker and Matt Stone (in a double ceremony) will get their stars this year.
Fantasia, Depeche Mode, Los Bukis, The B-52s, Green Day, The Isley Brothers, Busta Rhymes, George Strait, Keith Urban, WAR and Prince will be honoured in the recording category.
Meanwhile, Misty Copeland and Alan Cumming will be given stars in the live theatre/live performance category. David Beckham and Orel Hershiser will get stars in sports entertainment and Adam Carolla will become the sole recipient in the radio category.
Ceremonies for each star can happen over a period of two years

Honorees have up to two years after they are chosen to set a date for their ceremonies.
The new entrees were announced by Niecy Nash, Joe Mantegna, Jimmy Jam and Steven Nissen, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president.
Making the announcement, Peter Roth said, “The Walk of Fame has made history again! As Chairman of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee, I am thrilled to announce the distinguished honorees who will grace the iconic Walk of Fame in the Class of 2025. Each honoree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields. The committee and I cannot wait to see our honorees becoming part of this world-famous walkway!”
