Dakota Johnson shut down rumours of her split with longtime fiance Chris Martin with a picture and it's such a boss move.
The 50 Shades of Grey actress has been engaged to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin since 2020 and the two have been dating for longer than that.
Reports started suggesting earlier last week that the two have parted ways as some onlookers thought they spotted her without the ring. She was spotted in Malibu without the ring and has also given a few Coldplay concerts a miss.
To dispel all rumours, Dakota Johnson came out and without saying a word, flashed her huge engagement ring. It’s a huge emerald engagement ring that you can’t miss.

Dakota stepped out with her friends Jeremy Allen White and Blake Lee in Malibu, California. The actress kept her look pretty casual and was seen in an oversized tan coat and jeans.

Confirming that the couple is pretty much together, a representative for the actor said that the pair is "happily together."

Dakota and Chris were last seen together in June when she attended the Glastonbury Festival to support him during Coldplay's headlining performance. The two began dating in 2017, three years after Martin and his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow announced their separation.

Dakota started wearing her engagement ring in 2020 although they confirmed that they are engaged in March 2024. As per a source close to the couple, they got engaged years ago but were in no rush to marry. Although they keep their relationship mostly private, Dakota and Chris occasionally speak about each other and attend each other's events.

On the work front, Dakota was last seen as the titular character in Marvel's Madame Web. She will next star in Celine Song's romantic comedy Materialists. The film also features Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal.
