Michael Jackson's former friends had reportedly filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles two months back alleging that they had faced abuse. In the latest development, they have shared new details of their abuse claims against the late pop icon.
New details of sexual abuse allegations by the the group who filed lawsuit
In an interview with The New York Times, Edward Dominic and Also Cascio, along with the sister Marie-Nicole Porte, opened up about the alleged sexual abuse they suffered as children amid their close relationship with Jackson.
The Cascios, who had often been called the second family of Mr Jackson's, had befriended the singer after their father, Manhattan hotel manager Dominic Cascio Sr, met the pop icon in the 1980s. The family and the estate of Michael Jackson had struck a secret agreement whereby the family would be paid around $16 million over the course of five years. Reportedly, when the payments were halted in 2025, a round of negotiations failed, post which a lawsuit has been filed.

Reportedly, a lawyer for the estate, Marty Singer, has released a statement, per the report of The Hollywood Reporter, calling it the family's efforts for a desperate money grab and stating, "The family staunchly defended Michael Jackson for more than 25 years, attesting to his innocence of inappropriate conduct. This new court filing is a transparent forum-shopping tactic in their scheme to obtain hundreds of millions of dollars from Michael's estate and companies."
All about the lawsuit filed against the Michael Jackson's estate
Michael Jackson's former family friends, the Cascios, have sued the singer's estate for sexual abuse, alleging he sex trafficked them, as per reports. Reportedly, Edward Cascio, Dominic Cascio, Marie Porte and Aldo Cascio are suing The Michael Jackson Company for sex trafficking children by force, fraud or coercion and claim that over the decade he drugged, raped and sexually assaulted each of the plaintiffs, beginning when some of them were as young as seven or eight.

The report suggests that, as per the document, each of the children has claimed that there have been numerous incidents in which they were abused on interstate and international trips in places including Switzerland, Florida, South Africa and the United Kingdom, to name a few.
For the unversed, following the death of Michael Jackson in 2009, the estate of the singer was established for the purpose of administering his property and overseeing his posthumous income. His last will was filed by the attorney John Branca at the Los Angeles County courthouse on July 1, 2009. All assets are given to the (pre-existing) Michael Jackson Family Trust (amended March 22, 2002).
