Reports of Jimmy Kimmel in talks with Disney to reinstate his show are doing the rounds. This comes after the host has been suspended from ABC for an indefinite period over his remarks on Charlie Kirk's death.
Ever since Jimmy Kimmel was suspended by ABC for his remarks over Charlie Kirk's death on his show, it has stirred up a worldwide debate about whether he will ever be back on the small screen. But, turns out, there are reports of him in talks with Disney to reinstate his popular show.
Will Jimmy Kimmel be back with his show?
According to several reports, Jimmy Kimmel and Disney are reportedly in talks that would allow his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, to return to ABC. Reportedly, the host's business and legal representatives are seeing how the discussion would end between Disney and ABC's leaders.

A day earlier, a few bullets were fired at an ABC news station in Sacramento. Reportedly, as per the Sacramento Police Department, it said, "Just after 1:30 pm, PT, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 400 block of Broadway at ABC10".

Why was Jimmy Kimmel immediately removed?
In the show, Jimmy Kimmel, in the opening monologue of his show, mentioned Charlie Kirk's death and Tyler Robinson, who has been charged with murder. Jimmy Kimmel stated, "We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it," he said. "In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving".
Following this, he showed the clips of US President Donald Trump's reply when he was asked about Kirk's death. Trump had replied, "I think very good, and by the way, right there where you see all the trucks, they just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House," Trump replied, adding the new ballroom at the White House will "be a beauty". Kimmel then said, "Yes, he's at the fourth stage of grief: construction".
In the press conference, Sinclair vice chairman Jason Smith said, "Mr. Kimmel's remarks were inappropriate and deeply insensitive at a critical moment for our country. We believe broadcasters have a responsibility to educate and elevate respectful, constructive dialogue in our communities".
