Jaishankar rejects trade link to ending Ukraine war

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has reaffirmed India’s position that the Russia-Ukraine conflict must be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy, rejecting the focus on who is buying oil from Russia. Speaking in Kyiv alongside Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Jaishankar said India’s energy decisions are guided by national interests.
