Amid all this, the Tesla CEO is ready to bring his own version of Homer’s epic, and this time, he will make it using the AI tool, Grok.

While the world is a fan of Nolan’s cinema, it’s Musk who has said that he will make a full-length, “historically accurate” film of The Odyssey, and that too using AI.

Active 24/7 on X, the platform he owns, Musk reacted to a user who shared a Grok-imagined scene from The Odyssey. Responding to it, Musk said that before the end of this year, Grok Imagine will make a full-length movie.

Re-sharing the post on X, the SpaceX CEO, wrote,''Before this year ends, Grok Imagine will make a full-length movie of The Odyssey that is historically accurate and true to the art of Homer.''

The tech trillionaire has also reacted to another post, in which, a perso as asked the X CEO to give $100 million to Mel Gibson to film an Odyssey adaptation with painstakingly historically accurate ships. Reacted to this, Musk wrote,''I’m down.''

What does Elon Musk exactly mean by 'historically accurate'?

As created by Grok Imagine, the clip that Musk has shared shows Odysseus on the land of Calypso, where he was trapped for the longest time during his journey back home. Since Homer’s epic, which is thousands of years old, is all about King Odysseus’ journey back home. But it’s also full of myths, monsters, and magic. So it’s fiction. Now what Musk means when he says “historically accurate”, only he can explain.

Why is Elon Musk against The Odyssey?

Nolan's film has been in the headlines for over months now. While the world has praised his version of Homer's Greek epic, but it's Musk who was among several, who have continuesly raised questions over the casting of the movie.

On July 6, Musk called out Nolan's casting, as he wrote, “Chris Nolan desecrated Homer and groveled on his knees just to meet the woke rules required to win an Oscar. What a worm.” In another post, he has also called Nolan, ‘’an anti-White racist.”

He has continuesly questioned the director's choice of casting black actress Lupita Nyong'o as the mythological character Helen of Troy and her twin sister Clytemnestra. In the epic, Helen has been termed as one most beautiful women in the world.

However, the casting criticism has not at all affected Nolan's movie, which continues to earn outstanding numbers at the box office worldwide.
