Dolly Parton, the Country music legend, passed away on Aug 25 after a brief battle with cancer. Weeks after her death, Parton's She's Alive's manager filed a lawsuit against her music star's favourite nephew, Bryan Seaver.

Dolly Parton's longtime manager has dropped a complaint against the late singer's nephew for threatening her estate and its employees.

Days after Parton breathed her last, her estate became a centre of dispute when the country's music star's favourite nephew, Bryan Seaver, was accused of serious allegations, claiming that he extorted money from Parton's estate, threatening Parton's estate and its staff.

Danny Nozell, who looks after Parton's She's Alive, an entity to protect and manage her estate, has withdrawn the case against Seaver and his security company, Squadron Augmented Protection Services, in September. On Nov 5, they filed a notice of

voluntary dismissal of its lawsuit against Seaver in the Chancery Court of Tennessee. However, no reason has been given for the dismissal.

As per People, the dismissal was filed without prejudice, which means that the case could be filed again. However, a court filing from the day before said that both parties had reached a settlement. In the lawsuit, he was also accused of allegedly selling $27 million worth of ammunition. All the allegations were denied.

The attorneys for She's Alive have yet to react. However, Seaver's attorney has said that he remains committed to Dolly.

“Mr. Seaver cares deeply about his Aunt Dolly, her music, her family, and the incredible legacy she left behind,” Seaver’s attorney told TMZ in a statement.

“He has made a career out of protecting his aunt while she was alive and remains committed to Dolly and his entire family. Mr. Seaver is grateful to put this misunderstanding behind him so that the entire family can continue to grieve peacefully and ensure that the bright light of Dolly’s legacy remains entirely untouched.”

The new and major win for Seaver comes after he was terminated as her head of security after alleged threats in Sept. For the unversed, he has looked after Parton's and the estate's security for two decades.
