Selena Gomez is hitting back at the trolls! The Only Murders in the Building star has never shied away from talking about her struggles, whether it was her mental health or her bipolar disorder. Recently, the actress shared that she might not be able to carry children due to her bipolar disorder medications.
After Gomez's big revelation, she faced a lot of hatred from the trollers on social media, who targeted her for being vulnerable.
Slamming the trolls, the 32-year-old star during her presence at a Women in Film dinner in Beverly Hills said, “I truly believe that there is power in being vulnerable and telling people when you need help or when you want help — that is not shameful.”
“So yeah, I shared that I can’t carry a child. Yeah, I shared that I have bipolar. F–k off. That’s what my life is. That’s who I am,” Gomez says in a now-viral video.
The Disney star who attended the dinner with her sister Gracie Teefey, added that she wants to be an advocate for women and that's why shewants to be honest.
Selena explains, “I really want to be an advocate for women, and that’s why I share; that’s why I like to be honest, because everybody’s going through something.”

She adds, “I don’t have it all put together. I’m not a, you know, whatever. I am me, and that’s all I can be.”
The Disney star has been very open about her bipolar disorder. During her recent interview with Vanity Fair, the Emmy-nominated star said, “I haven’t ever said this, but I unfortunately can’t carry my own children,” she told the magazine. “I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while.”
Gomez has seen quite a few health struggles in herlife. In 2013, the singer was diagnosed with lupus, followed by a kidney transplant in 2017 and bipolar disorder diagnosis in 2018.
