It's double trouble for Taylor Swift's ex-partners because the American singer-songwriter is dropping 15 extra songs with her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. Titled 'The Anthology,' the 15-song companion piece was released just two hours after the main album drop.
While making the surprise announcement on Instagram, Taylor wrote, "It’s a 2 am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album. I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second instalment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours."
“The Manuscript,” “The Bolter,” “The Albatross,” and “The Black Dog,” are some of the extra tracks Taylor has released in The Anthology. Some of these bonus tracks have been featured on different vinyl versions of the album.

With the release of the bonus songs, The Tortured Poets Department now has a total of 31 tracks (that’s 13 backwards).
For the 11th LP, the singer has reunited with Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner. The album explores her most recent relationships, controversies and her public image. It also features collaborations with Post Malone, Florence and the Machine.
Taylor first announcedthe album at the Grammy Awards in February, while accepting the award for Best Pop Vocal Album. In the last 3 years, Swift has also released four re-recorded versions of the albums she released with Big Machine Records.
After the release of her 10th studio album Midnights in 2022, Swift embarked on her massive Eras Tour, which turned out to be the most successful concert tour of all time.
