Diljit Dosanjh pays tribute to Ratan Tata during Germany concert
Diljit Dosanjh got emotional during the Germany concert when he learned about Ratan Tata’s demise. The singer and performer was mid-concert when he got to know about the death of the Indian industrialist.
He stopped the concert midway and in a sweet gesture paid tribute to the industry titan. A video of the same has been circulating on the internet with netizens hailing the star as humble and kind.

In the now-viral video, Diljit Dosanjh is heard saying, "You all know Ratan Tata. He passed away and I pay tribute to him. I felt necessary to take his name today because all his life, he worked hard. However much I read or heard about him, I don't remember him speaking ill of anyone. He always worked hard, did good work, and helped people."
Talking about lessons from the late Ratan Tata's life, Diljit added, “Yahi zindagi hai (This is life). If we can learn something from his life, it is that we need to work hard, think good, and help others. Bedaag apni life jee ke gaye woh (He lived his life without blemish).”

Diljit Dosanjh has been performing all around the world as part of the Dil-Luminati Tour. He’s been on tour for several weeks now, performing in the US and Europe. As for Ratan Tata, he was the chairman of Tata Group for more than two decades, He died at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on October 9.
