June is shaping up to be packed with entertainment. Months after its initial announcement, Prime Video has officially revealed the OTT release details for the upcoming film Raakh, starring Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre, and Aamir Bashir in lead roles.
Directed and executive produced by Prosit Roy, the investigative thriller is created, written, and co-directed by Anusha Nandakumar and Sandeep Saket.

The highly anticipated series is set to premiere globally on Prime Video on June 12, promising audiences a dark, emotionally charged mystery packed with suspense, psychological tension, and intense performances.
Annoucing the release date, the streaming platform dropped the first poster featuring Fazal as a cop, who is looking shockingly at a body, hinting at the emotionally turbulent investigation. Sharing the poster on social media, the platform wrote, “buried truths always find their way back 🤫 #RaakhOnPrime, New Series, June 12.

The upcoming series is a new addition to the mystery and investigation genre.''When two teenagers vanish, a close-knit family is shattered and the city is left on edge. Determined to uncover the truth, a relentless officer leads a nationwide manhunt that pulls him deep into a world of violence and human depravity,'' reads the description of the movie.
Announced earlier this year in March when Amazon Prime Video unveiled an exciting and ambitious slate for 2026, the series also stars Sonali. However, what role she will play has not been revealed. Much information about the show has not been made public.
In the teaser dropped earlier, Bendre's first look was revealed. Seemingly playing the role of a mother, searching for answers. Ali Fazal appears as a cop torn between his badge and his personal life as he battles emotional turmoil and internal conflict. The footage hints that show is going to be raw and intense.
Apart from Fazal and Bendre, the show also stars Aamir Bashir, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rakesh Bedi.
