Few days after a CISF guard slapped the newly elected MP Kangana Ranaut, she has been getting a lot of support from Bollywood celebrities and co-stars who have shown solidarity withthe actress.
While some A-listers like Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher and Vivek Agnihotri have expressed their thoughts clearly through their public statements,some stars havesilently supported her.
One star whose reaction to a post on Kangana's slap incident is garnering enough attention isactor Hrithik Roshan.

Taking to her Instagram handle, D'Souza penned a long note on the slap incident and the violence.
Her post reads, “With reference to the incident of MP Kangana Ranaut being slapped at an airport, violence can never be the answer. Especially not in our country that was born out of Gandhi’s ideals of non- violence. It doesn’t matter how much we disagree with views and statements made by someone, we cannot react with violence and we should not condone it. It is particularly dangerous when security personnel react violently while in uniform. Imagine, over the last ten years, if those of us who questioned power were assaulted at airports by constables who were in agreement with that power.”
Soon after her post was shared, it garnered likes from actress Alia Bhatt, Hrithik, Alia's mother Soni Razdan, director Zoya Akhtar, Sonakshi Sinha among others.

For the unaware, Kangana and Hrithik had a very bitter past, involving court cases, serious allegations and lot more.
In 2016, the Krrish actor filed a legal case against Ranaut after she called him a 'silly ex'.
Ranaut has claimed that she and Hrithik have dated while working on Krrish 3 which Roshan has denied.
Several emails were made public with Kangana making controversial statement against the War actor.
Kangana has also received support from Alia Bhatt, whom she has often criticised in the larger context of nepotism in Bollywood industry. In 2019, Ranaut called Bhatt’s performance in Gully Boy'mediocre'.
She said, “I am embarrassed... what is there to beat in her Gully Boy performance... same snappy muh phat (outspoken) girl... Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media has taken filmy kids love too far. Stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised.”
