Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal may have opted for an intimate wedding ceremony on June 23 which had only close family and friends in attendance but the couple hosted a grand reception later in the evening which had Bollywood bigwigs in attendance.
Sonakshi chose a red Benarasi saree for the reception party and completed her look with a neat bun and emerald jewelry. Her groom, Zaheer wore a white traditional outfit. The couple came out briefly to pose for the paps and even took a group photo with all the camera persons present at the event.

Sonakshi's parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha were present to bless the couple. So were Rekha, Kajol and Salman Khan. Khan was instrumental in making the couple meet at one of his parties seven years back. On Sunday night, the Bollywood superstar chose to make a quick entry to the venue and did not stop to pose for the shutterbugs.
Kajol could be seen gushing over the bride as she took a video with the newlyweds. Rekha posed with the newly engaged couple Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth. Aditi and Sonakshi were seen together in Heeramandi recently. Heeramandi actors Fardeen Khan and Richa Chadha along with her husband Ali Fazal, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Sehgal and the creator of the show, Sanjay Leela Bhansali were present at the event to bless the newlyweds.

Sonakshi's best friend and Double XL co-star Huma Qureshi, her brother, actor Saqib Saleem, Patralkeha and her husband Rajkummar Rao were also seen at the event, dressed in their traditional best.

Sonakshi and Zaheer had been dating for 7 years before they got married on Sunday morning under the Special Marriage Act.
