Amid Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's custody battle, a lot of changes are already occurring at Jolie's abode. According to a recent update, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has opted to drop her father's moniker from her name. Shiloh's decision to change her name comes shortly after her sibling Vivienne's name without her father's surname garnered major attention.

As per the reports by People, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt has taken alegal way to remove Pitt from her name forever. She has filed a petition in a Los Angeles court to officially drop Pitt from her name on her 18th birthday, which coincided withMemorial Day in USA.

Angelina and Brad's third-eldest child Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, wants her name to be “Shiloh Jolie,” as perreports.

For the legal process, People has learned that Shiloh hired her own lawyer and has paid the expenses all by herself. "Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself," the source said, highlighting the reason she sited for the name change was her mother Angelina's allegations of an "abuse history."

Shiloh is the firstamong her siblings to choose a legal way to drop Pitt from her name. However, she's not the first to remove the moniker. Earlier this week, fans spottedVivienne changed name in the playbill for The Outsiders, a Broadway show.

In the booklet, as per People, she was listed as "Vivienne Jolie." There is no confirmation whether her name has been changed legally. Before Shiloh and Vivienne, Zahara was the first one whoopted for her mother's maiden name.

Pitt and Jolie share six children: Maddox, 22; Pax, 20; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and twins Vivienne and Knox (15).

The former Hollywood couple is embroiled in a bitter custody battle. The Meleficent actress filed for divorce in 2016 after an incident on a plane. In the court filling, the actress alleged that Pitt grabbed her by the head and shook her, andattacked two of their children on an airplane.

The couple are also fighting over Château Miraval, a 500 hectare French winery that they bought together.
