All fake: Jimmy Fallon makes a joke of his death rumours

Jimmy Fallon

What’s happened to Jimmy Fallon? Apparently the ultra funny TV host died according to some social media rumours and Fallon being himself made a joke of it. Taking to The Tonoght Show, Jimmy started with his show’s choir singing “he’s alive!”. He then joined them and said, “I’m alive”.

Speaking on the matter, Jimmy Fallon said, “I don’t know if you guys saw this but for the last 24 hours, #RIPJimmyFallon has been trending on Twitter. Even worse, when they heard I died, Ticketmaster kicked me out of line for Taylor Swift tickets.” He brought in the Taylor Swift joke as well as tickets to her upcoming tour apparently surged in prices with many queuing up in virtual lines to buy for themselves.

Turning back to his death rumours, Jimmy Fallon then continued, “Right after it happened, though, I was so touched that NBC immediately called and asked, ‘How can we turn this into another Law & Order?'”

“#RIPJimmyFallon was the No. 2 trend on Twitter. I tried everything I could to bump it down. I even tried the hashtag #RIPPEDJimmyFallon. I thought that would maybe help,” he said as he showed a picture of his head superimposed on the body of Ryan Gosling playing Ken in the Barbie movie.

Jimmy Fallon also tweeted, “Elon, can you fix this? #RIPJimmyFallon.”

Not so surprisingly, Elon Musk even responded and said, “Fix what?”
