Bollywood starAlia Bhatt, who has made her name in the showbiz world in a very short time span. While she continues to work hard on her career, she also very particular about what are the things that she's going to make her little munchkin learn and the things that she won't let her daughter do.
During a conversation with her mother Soni Razdan for the magazine,The Nod, Alia Bhatt talked about her guilt as a working child, parenting, and the lessonsthat she has learnt from her life, whichshe's going to incorporate into her daughter's life.
Chatting with her mother, Alia recalled her pregnancy days when she felt guilty for not spending enough time with her parents.
“I remember when I was pregnant and shooting in London for Heart of Stone [Alia's Hollywood debut].I couldn’t sleep for three days because I felt so guilty about how maybe I wasn’t a good enough daughter.” Adding to Alia'sstatement, Soni said, “She works hard on her mental health, but there are days she feels anxious about not picking up my calls or giving us any attention.”

Talking further, Alia said that she was occupied with her work when she was 23, and barely had time to spend with her mother Soni.
“I was barely 23 when I moved out of the house. I’d be away on long shooting schedules, and sometimes you wouldn’t even know which city I was in. So that was a defining point in my life, and our relationship,” she said.
Hailing her mother for all the support, Alia added that she won't let Raha leave home early. “But I do feel I left home too soon—and I won’t let that happen with Raha. Believe it or not, usually I’m a forward-thinking kind of person, but with Raha, I’m just taking each day as it comes.”
Further, The Raazi star gave a tip that she had received fromher father Mahesh Bhatt. She said, ''Papa recently told me: If you don’t let Raha fall down, it will be the biggest mistake you’ll make because she’ll never learn how to pick herself up.”
Alia and Ranbir got married in a close-knit ceremony in 2022. The couple welcomed their daughter Raha in November, of the same year. After keeping her out of the spotlight for more than a year, the star revealed the face of their baby on Christmas.
