Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli wants his team to continue moving forward with courage after the loss against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 29 in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. This was RCB's second loss in three games, having already lost to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the season opener. In the game against KKR, Kohli stood tall with 59-ball 83 not out but was alone as wickets kept tumbling at the other end.

Kohli was, however, adjudged player of the match for his innings by the RCB in their dressing room and gave a motivating speech to the team and said: "On a more serious note, we had a tough night, we all know that. We are much better than that, so, as long as we accept it, and move forward with the same courage, and the same belief in our skills. That is all we can come up with, so let us stay on that path." Here's video of the speech:

Talking about the game, RCB, riding on Kohli's 83 along with valuable contributions from Cameron Green (33) and Glenn Maxwell (28), posted 182/6. For KKR, Andre Russell took 2/29 and so did Harshit Rana (2/39).

Chasing 183, KKR were brutal in the powerplay, scoring 85 for no loss thanks to Sunil Narine, who scored 22-ball 47 in his 500th T20 game.

After Narine got out, Venkatesh Iyer upped the ante, scoring 30-ball 50. KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer also hit unbeaten 24-ball 39 as Kolkata reached the target in 16.5 over with seven wickets in hand.

With two losses in three games, RCB would looking for answers in their next match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 2. KKR, on the other hand, are second on the points table with two wins in two matches.
