The new programs, named Warranty Extension Hybrid and Power Hybrid, promise to replace the high-voltage battery packs (HVB) in Ferrari hybrid cars at specific intervals: and again only when the vehicle is four years old or sixteen years old from its start up. This is a preventive measure that aims at countering rogue owners of electrified vehicles who frequently post on the durability and the efficiency of their battery systems that have a massive impact on the car’s resale value.

In addition to these battery replacements, Ferrari offers standard five-year warranty on hybrid system parts. The new warranty extensions will also be transferred to successive owners to also ensure that resale of Ferrari hybrids is equally enticing due to the warranty of performance.

It also shows the company's willingness to integrate advanced technology in the production of their automobiles to add value to its buyers without straining the investors.

It also features such elements like production of continued protectant factory warranties that entail the coverage of the entire car and the key powertrain parts for an extra period of two-four years. Certain insiders disclosed that these complete warranty solutions go for about 7,000 euros, which is equivalent to 7,530 dollars, annually.

Interestingly, such warranties will also hold for Ferrari’s eagerly-awaited all-electric car model that is expected to hit the market early the next year; proof that Ferrari is as committed as ever in the manufacture of sophisticated automobiles going by the current rising pace of innovation in the auto industry.
