A shocking video is making rounds on social media, where a woman tourist can be seen beingattacked by an offender near Times Square in New York.
According to the New York Post, 62-year-old Cyril Destin, with a history of crimes, stabbed a woman on a busy New York sidewalk.
The video of the incident shows two women walking down the street when a man sitting outside Port Gourmet Deli, stabs one of the women across the chest.

Police officers rushed to the scene, confiscated his knife and placed him in handcuffs. The 46-year-old victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital and was treated for a serious chest wound and is reported to be in stable condition.
Following his arrest, Cyril Destin was taken to Bellevue Hospital for a psychological evaluation.
The police records show a history of arrests for Destin, with 14 incidents over the past two decades, which include charges of criminal mischief and trespassing, with four arrests since 2019 alone, according to sources.
Jamal Mubare, owner of the deli, informed that Destin is a regular customer at his shop and is known to live in a nearby homeless shelter.
''I know this guy since a year. He doesn't look like he is dangerous. I think he just didn't take his medication or something. Everyone over there in the homeless shelter across the street is crazy,'' Mubare told the New York Post.

“The man was just sitting outside, smoking a cigarette. Then, these two women came out of a gift shop, and out of nowhere, he lunges at one of them. They didn't even know each other. After the attack, he just sat back down like nothing happened. Didn't even try to run away, just sat there smoking like he didn't do anything wrong,” added Mubare.
This latest incident underscores the city's struggle to balance public safety with addressing mental health challenges.
