A sensational viral video is making waves where a 21-year-old influencer, Jenna Sinatra from New Jersey, can be seen at a medical facility with her mouth stretched wide open - courtesy of a big yawn.
In a jaw-dropping turn of events, the influencer was stuck in this bizarre situation and in need of a medical intervention, just days before her birthday.
In the video posted by the influencer, she's seen checking into a medical facility. The doctor asks her how long she's been experiencing the issue, to which a person accompanying her replies it's been an hour.
Throughout the video, the influencer appears to be struggling to speak and is frequently seen wiping drool from her mouth. She also mentions in the video that she's in pain.
In a now-viral video, the medical staff is also seen taking an X-ray of Sinatra's jaw as she struggled to communicate due to her situation. Later, the doctor gave her some muscle relaxantsto decrease her discomfort.

The video, showing the young social media influencer becoming the centre of attention after a big yawn left her jaw dislocated, has garnered millions of views and an outpouring of reactions since being posted online.

One user wrote, "What a cool and calm young lady. I’d be freakin out!" According to Jenna, medical professionals at the hospital "shoved [her] jaw back together" after hours of examination and X-rays and giving her lots of medicines.
Sinatra posts an update video
The incident was reportedly described by one doctor as a phenomenon that is "very rare". In an update video, Jenna's face could be seenwrapped in bandages.

"I cannot believe this happened," Jenna said in a TikTok video. A couple of days later, she could also be seen celebrating her birthday where her jaw looked perfectly alright. The update video only added to the internet frenzy surrounding her ordeal.

Jenna was also warned that her condition might occur again.
Viewers chimed in with their own stories of jaw-related mishaps as they shared their fears with lockjaw, a condition triggered by activities as mundane as yawning widely or laughing.
Dr Anthony Youn, a plastic surgeon, weighed in on Jenna's case and said that though rare, it is a phenomenon often linked to temporomandibular joint (TMJ) issues.
